Saskatoon Canada has secured the 4th World Conference on Safety in Science, Industry and Education
After a 12 month bid process, the city of Saskatoon in Canada, led by Tourism Saskatoon and the Industry Growth Group's Global Research and Intelligence Network (GRAIN) were successfully awarded the right to host the 4th World Conference on Safety in Science, Industry and Education for 2015.
The conference will attract around 1000 delegates with almost 70% of these delegates coming from overseas.
The conference will include academics and industry and trade, and will include 5 conference streams and an exhibition of around 100 booths.
GRAIN's Executive Director, Scott Campbell, said ,"We are delighted to have had the opportunity to manage this bid and to work with Tourism Saskatoon over the last year on securing it, the conference will have a huge economic impact to the city and will bring in dozens of opportunities for international trade, partnerships and collarboration".
The 2013 Conference is being hed in Malaysia, and the 2014 conference in Australia.
