About Us

The Industry Growth Group are association and commercial bidding and market development consultants. We provide support to associations and companies with sourcing and securing sponsorships, bids, tenders, grants and awards.

Our success rate in helping associations and companys averaged over 80% in 2011.

Our vision is to be the world leader in sourcing leads and opportunities and in winning bids, tenders, sponsorships, awards and grants for our clients.

Our mission is have global strategies in place so our clients know what sources of opportunities, business or funding are open to them, and to produce high quality proposals and bids and maintain a high conversion rate.

Our clients cover 4 continents and range from City, State and Federal Government agencies such as the City of Washington DC through to international associations and societies. We support destination marketing organisations as well as major exporters and corporations, such as some of the world’s biggest mining companies including Newmont Gold and Portmann Mining.

Whilst their individual requirements vary, all of the clients of the Industry Growth Group have one thing in common, they are wanting to maximise their effectiveness in the markets they operate and increase their market share, profit/ surplus margins and revenue streams.

The Industry Growth Group (IGG) has several partnerships that are strategically developed to service the needs of the corporate, association and meetings industries.

Industry Growth Group Consulting (IGG)

IGG Consulting works with corporations to provide unrivalled expertise, advice and strategy in;

  • Streamlining business processes and systems to enable maximised market share, profit/ surplus margins and share price.
  • Procurement (specialising in the Asian region)
  • Establishing supply chains and distribution channels
  • Managing and writing internal and external commercial bids and tenders.
  • Awards, grants and scholarship applications.

The Industry Growth Group operates in 10 Industry Portfolios.

Global Research and Intelligence Network (GRAIN)

With an effective internal strategy, systems and processes in place, it is important to have the ability to follow through and ensure your organisation maximises its’ in-market potential. To do this you need support in market.

To deliver this, the Industry Growth Group uses the Global Research and Intelligence Network (GRAIN) which comprises of a team of 35 people across 16 countries who provide daily support to your organisation in market.

This global team gives our clients a competitive edge when operating overseas. The majority of clients using the GRAIN services are exporters, destination marketing organisations (including Tourism Boards, Convention Bureau, Convention Centres and Professional Conference Organisers), and international associations.

Due to our geographic locations the team is operating 24 hours per day, 6 days per week.

From the commencement of analysis through to winning the contract, entering a new market averages 12 months when using the GRAIN team, and our contract conversion rates are currently 78%. GRAIN operates an 8 stage process to secure new international contracts for our clients. Our strategy is proven and highly effective and we back this mantra with the majority of funds we receive being through commission payments on new contracts you secure!

International Centre for Industry Development

Not- for- profit Associations and Societies are the backbone of most industries and communities. It is where people can get together to share information and knowledge, for education, for networking and business, to set standards and regulate, for lobbying and sharing expertise to grow the professional or industry sector.

Many International Associations are constantly challenged with how to maintain and boost membership, how to expand their messages, how to secure new sources of sponsorship, and how to run effective conferences that end in surplus.

To support with market expansion of International Associations and to provide an “association incubation” service, the Industry Growth Group uses GRAIN's International Centre for Industry Development (GRAIN-ICID) which was established to support international associations and several areas;

  • Securing corporate sponsorships (bids/ proposals/ relationships/ tenders).
  • Securing Government funding.
  • Support with boosting membership.
  • Support with conferences including securing conference sponsors, international marketing and sales of exhibition booths.
  • Advice on the business case for destination selection which destination to take your next conference.
  • Supporting local hosts with their conferences.
  • Establishment of regional offices or branches.
